    Finding the Time

    There’s a meme that often pops up on my Facebook feed that says “Adult friendship is two people saying “I haven’t seen you in forever, we should really meet up more” over and over again until one of you dies”. This meme resonates with me. Every time I see it a little part of me nods in agreement. The older I get, I’ve found it harder and harder to put time into friendships.     I know what it’s like to feel lonely. After finishing school, all I wanted to do was outdoor recreation work at a campsite. I had volunteered at school holiday camps and had loved it. I loved working with great people to give the campers a great experience, but also sharing the gospel. Often 40 or 50 volunteers would come together to make these camps happen. They were so much fun and I made so many friends. I decided that I wanted to do this ministry for the rest of my life
